Seattle’s South Asian community is enormous and almost entirely driven by tech. Amazon and Microsoft alone have hired tens of thousands of Indian engineers, and the spillover into Bellevue, Redmond, Kirkland, Sammamish, and Issaquah has turned the Eastside into one of the densest desi suburbs in the country. UW adds a student contingent. The community is massive, wealthy, and young. The dating scene? Somehow still stuck in 2015.
