Sacramento’s South Asian community has been growing steadily, driven partly by Bay Area spillover and partly by its own strengths. Folsom, Elk Grove, and Rancho Cordova have become popular landing spots for Indian families. State government jobs, UC Davis proximity, and a cost of living that doesn’t require selling a kidney have drawn a real desi population to the area. The community is here. The singles scene is playing catch up.
