Houston’s South Asian community is massive, concentrated, and wildly diverse. The Hillcroft corridor is one of the densest South Asian neighborhoods in the country. Sugar Land, Katy, Stafford, Missouri City. The Gujarati community is enormous. The Telugu community is enormous. The Pakistani community is enormous. Over 150,000 South Asians call the Houston metro home, and on any given weekend there are multiple cultural events, temple functions, and family gatherings happening simultaneously.

What there isn’t, somehow, is a fun dating event for single South Asians that doesn’t feel like a matrimonial fair or a corporate mixer. Garam Masala Dating fills that gap.
